Every six months, members of the Kafka Brigade get together to share our experiences, reflect on our learning and consider how best to deliver public value over the coming six months. This summer’s retreat was in Haarlem, Netherlands. It’s always a fascinating time and we draw inspiration from what colleagues have achieved, as well as hearing about the fantastic people they have been working with – the citizens and public servants making a real difference day to day.
This year, we re-conceptualised the passport, reflected on the importance of hospitality to nurture good conversation, and discussed our growing contribution to environmental services. Not bad for a weekend!
